Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started working professionally as a teenager at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show included The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after performing in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production in which she won the Barrymore Award nomination. She portrayed the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway aged 15 and received an Drama League Award nomination.
